Schwarzkopf's got2b volumizing styling powder is used to give hair an instant boost of volume through boosting the roots and giving the hair texture and hold. The product is a fine sticky powder that you can either put into your hands, rub them together and then apply to the hair or apply straight into the hair for an even larger boost.
This product does exactly what it says it does, it boosts the hair giving it as much volume as desired (depending on the amount of product used). I always apply this to my roots first, usually putting it into my hands and then rubbing the product in but if I am going on a big night out (new years eve, for example) then I will apply the product straight into the hair as I really want it to last!
The only downside to this product would be the way it leaves your hair feeling. It is definitely not a nice feeling and almost feels dirty as though it needs a wash. It doesn't look this way though so if this wouldn't bother you that much then I would definitely recommend giving it a go. I always use this product when it doesn't matter what the state of my hair is in the morning. If I know I'll be needing to get up and go pretty quickly then I know that this is not the product to use for that night but otherwise I'm always using it for nights out!
I would definitely recommend picking up this product if you are looking for a quick fix to volumizing your hair (quicker than back combing too - and much better for your hair!) and for £2.71 you can't really go wrong!
What do you think of this product? Have you tried any other volumizing powders?

Thanks lovely xx
DeleteI never thought a powder could volumise(?) as well as a hairspray, but I'm curious now! Shame about the dirty hair feeling, when I go out I want to feel at my best rather than icky :/ But the price is good, might have to give it a try!

it really does! It like bulks out the hair at the roots. It's not too bad I suppose, just depends whether you think it's worth it (which I do!) haha. xx

ReplyDeleteThis sounds good, always seeing adverts for it but had never heard anything about it. It's a shame about how it makes your hair feel but if it does its volumising job, it sounds good! x
ReplyDeletei'd definitely say it's worth it! x
DeleteI've been wanting to try this for a while now, and my hair definitely needs a bit more volume! I love your blog :)

I have the Schwarzkopf osis dust it which I think is similar and it gives amazing volume but leaves my hair feeling tackyish :) xx
ReplyDeletethat's the next one on my shopping list, it looks great!xx
DeleteIve been using the Redken dust. Same thing, works a wonder for volume but I hate how it makes my hair feel. Also feel like it leaves a residue even after a good shampoo
ReplyDeleteahh never found this one to leave anything after a shampoo, it's usually alright! x
DeleteStill have to try this but so indecisive if I do! Might just after reading this. Really like your blog just followed with blogluvin :)

DeleteI've heard the same thing about all these powder volumisers that they leave your hair feeling awful the next day, shame as it seems to be the only downside!
ReplyDeleteCurrently hosting a giveaway on my blog for a pair of galaxy print leggings! This is hte final week if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning!

Yeaah, only downside. it's alright if your planning on washing it though!
Deleteah thanks lovely, just entered x
I love this powder! I always use it after I've washed my hair because my hair always goes so flat and silky at the roots, this sorts it right out!

It works wonders doesn't it! :)
DeleteI've had a few volumising powders, including the Toni&Guy one which is the most expensive one I've tried (it was about £10) and to be honest they all do the same job and leave your hair feeling the same way. So for this one is definitely value for money and the only one I have repurchased :) xx

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this product! It's my favourite volumising powder. I don't mind the texture it leaves your hair too much as I hate my hair when it's flat and sleek. So this product is my go -to thing everyday! xx

ReplyDeleteI have this product from Taft! I totally know what you mean about the way it leaves your hair feeling, it's really quite unpleasant. On the other hand, it really gives you loads of volume! On the fence about this product :) x
ReplyDeleteDo I want to try or do I not want to try lol love big hair hate dirty hair. Decisions decisions! Fab post though
